ROCKDALE EVENTS
During the year, The Depot Museum will be involved with various City of Rockdale activities. Also, the depot is open to the public each Sunday from 1pm to 4 pm and by special arrangement.
Special Events
Sept 1, 2018 City-Wide Garage Sale
The Kaye Theater, the Historical Society, together with several other nonprofit organizations, will participate in an indoor garage sale during Saturday of the City Wide Garage sale.
Those who would like donate items to the Rockdale Heritage Society can leave items at the Depot during Saturday or Sunday from 1pm to 4pm or call Pat Jackson at: 512-446-2956 or 512-429-0275 if other arrangements need to be made for pickup of items. For those who would like to volunteer to set up, man and breakdown the booth, please contact Pat as well.

New Salem Building

OFFICER ELECTION NOTICE
The Rockdale Historical Society is holding elections for the 2019 calendar year.
The Rockdale Heritage Society is currently seeking members to run for the following offices:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
If you are interested in running for an office, please contact me, Pat Watson, at c12h22011@hotmail.com or 512-446-7992.
Elections will be held on December 9, 2018 at the Society Christmas Party. All members are invited to attend the party, which will be held in the historic restored Dining Car at the Depot. The Party begins at 4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
An RSVP would be helpful so there are plenty of refreshments​ for everyone.
The Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the restored Depot building.
Pleases consider joining us as an officer or an attending member as we begin the new year at the Depot.
