During the year, The Depot Museum will be involved with various City of Rockdale activities.

Dec 2, 2017 Santa will soon be here….
December 2 – 10am – 8pm
Moms and dads, aunts and uncles, grandparents and all of those who love Christmas time! Grab the kids or come alone and enjoy spending the day at the
I&GN Train Depot.
10am – 5:50pm......Black Smith Shop
Volunteers will be explaining and demonstrating techniques used by blacksmiths to forge metal.
10am – 5:30pm......Model Train exhibit
Volunteers will be available to operate the model trains and answer any questions pertaining to railroading.
10am – 5:30pm......Tractor train
Kids love to ride the Tractor Train….especially when they see the driver who just happens to resemble Santa with his white hair and beard!
2pm – 4pm......Story Telling
There’s something fascinating about a “Little Red Caboose”
It’s also the perfect place for children to gather around Pat Watson as she captures their imagination reading some of the most favorite Christmas stories.
3:30pm – 5:30pm……Santa Will Be Here!
The day will be filled with so many activities to enjoy, but the best part for the kids will always be sitting on Santa’s lap and telling him all the things they hope to find under the Christmas tree!
Don’t forget….Cookies and Milk will be sold in the Dining Car
